So i think you can stay outside but you will miss a good story and a nice walk in tunnel :), the guide will tell a story at the end off the tunnel about the war off the aboriginals

We did the one day Cape Leveque tour and we would thoroughly recommend it. Next time though we’ll hire a four wheel drive and travel towards the Kimberley and across to Darwin from Broome. The outback of Australia is well worth seeing. The colours are magnificent.

Hi Catherine, I went on the two day tour, and honestly there was very little walking involved. We drove directly to the campsite (stopping in a roadhouse on the way for coffee and biscuits). Then once we had set up camp and got everything ready for the night, we drove to Geike gorge for the boat ride. It was maybe a 10-15 minute walk from the car park down the docks. The second day we headed to Windjana gorge and Tunnel creek. This day was a little more walking, taking around 15 minutes to reach the tunnel entrance, then a further 30 minutes(ish) to reach the other side where we swam in the creek and had more coffee and biscuits. Our group included a number of older people and all but one walked the entire time. The one lady decided to wait by the entrance to the tunnel which was perfectly fine. I hope this helps?
