For the most part, this is a great park, they do have activities, fishing, camping, hiking, etc. But skip this park during deer hunting season. They pretty much close access to trails and other area… Full review by tedf946

Are there any firepits near the water at any location in the park, ie: campgrounds, beach, or other?

The campsites are not near water, so that's a no for them. I know that people have fires near the river on the rock. The only "beach" so to speak of (with sand) is pretty regulated and …
