Dr Kaylie Young grew up in Pearland, Texas fascinated by eyes. At the young age of 16, she began her optometry career as an optometric technician and optician for 5 years. During this time, she attended Pearland High School and then completed her undergraduate studies in 2016 at Houston Baptist University where she achieved a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then accomplished a Doctor of Optometry with Cum Laude honors from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2020. Her clinical rotations included a private MD/OD practice, KDW Eye Consultants, and the San Antonio Veterans Affairs Eye Clinic.
