City Museum is a museum whose exhibits consist largely of repurposed architectural and industrial objects, housed in the former International Shoe building in the Washington Avenue Loft District of St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Opened in 1997, the museum attracted more than 700,000 visitors in 2010.

We went here on a Saturday morning. Came in around 10 AM - we were able to park in the compound itself. The museum is just awesome. The caves, slides, the climbing, tree house, roof top, Pinball, etc… Full review by Shanker B

I would assume Saturday during the day is the busiest. But I would say outside of getting a snack/eating, it won’t matter. It’s a big place and we went on a busy Saturday and that was the only issue I had. (Even part of that was people “saving” and “using” chairs that could have had people sit on them when they weren’t using them. I can’t help rude selfish people.). Otherwise it’s so huge, the actual play area won’t matter how busy it is probably. Also my hack was to get bottled water at the gift shop and avoid the super long food and snack lines
