I don't recall seeing dogs or cats in the park. Please look on the website for confirmation on that. On the safe side, if you can, keep your pet at home.
If you visit garden in day and get the first tickets to lights at night, what can you do in the hour the garden is closed? Are there any restaurants very nearby that you could eat a quick meal in between?

Around how long does it take to walk through the Gardens of Light event? I know the trail is 2km, is an hour enough time to see all of the lights and lanterns?
