As a follow-up: the outdoor observation deck is narrow and doesn't have any seating, but there are seats inside on both the 80th and 86th floors. However, they are few in number and are always taken. My one kid sat on the floor and got told told by the guard to stand up. So if you are a senior citizen, or are having a dizzy spell and need to sit, you could be outta' luck until someone "moves along" and a seat opens up.
