Walter Sidney Hubble, the founder along with his wife Edmonia Nelson Hubble established Hubble Funeral Home in 1900. In 1936, a big 36th celebration was held in the community. Their children, Edward Sidney Hubble, Jerome Nelson Hubble, Sarah Hubble, Mary L. Hubble, Hannibal Hubble, and Georgia Parham Tucker Hubble worked and managed the family business. The funeral home is currently in its third generation under the management of Jean Parham Eason, and Doyle Parham.
