Hi, I would like to picnic at your gardens with about 20 people together, to celebrate a birthday. Will I be allowed to bring some foldable chairs to keep close to the picnic tables available (assuming you do have picnic tables)?

Hi, sadly not due to a bye law in place. Dogs are welcome in the surrounding playing fields but not into the house estate itself.
I am constantly harassed by other large dogs off the lead when my dog is on the lead. If I say anything the usual answer is my dog doesn’t need to be on a lead. Trouble is my dog is very nervous and although she is very small if she growls because she is frightened I am worried that they will attack her. Is there not a law about them being on a lead!

Check out yellow dog uk Generally a growl is a warning to others to back off and your dog is perfectly within her rights to give this response to a rude intruder. It is very unusual for a dog that is off lead to respond aggressively in that situation.
