I have passed this old station many times and never called in , I know it is a popular place for walkers . However , I had an opportunity to actually visit today…….wow. It was a blast from the past …Full review by Alan H
Why did the railway lines get removed and are the lines being replaced because it makes the platform look more authentic cheers Mike

The lines were removed when the whole line was closed down to make the Wirral Way walk. Yes the lines were replaced just for that section to make it look more authentic.
Hi I was wondering, In order to see the translation and walk along the tracks do you have to pay or is it free to the public, as I am a photography student and I have chosen to do a shoot on old stations and tracks, as I find them fascinating about the history of how they came to be, and I believe this would be a great opportunity
