However, if you go to the website of the National Parks Service (nps.gov), then to the "Plan Your Visit" portion of their website for GSMNP, you will find alerts for such things as road closures. Right now, the website includes a phone # to call for up-to-date info. It's (865) 436-1200. You can also login to Twitter for up-to-date road closure into, it says.
