Wanted to stop to check out the park and see what kind of view of the beach existed. There was a bit of an adventure element and it was over a mile hike and a pretty steep Dune to get to the overlook… Full review by T8666YIbethm

My friends, this is a beautiful park. If it was my wife and I, we might have enjoyed it more. But you should know not to take young teens or kids who are not used to physical exertion when they are e… Full review by MichiganTraveler174

Sorry but no dune buggy rides. Grande Mere is off limits and as such is a hiking, walking and mainly bird/wildlife park with no rentals. Very pristine and beautiful!
How much does it cost for access to the park for approximately one hour? We are driving through the area on a road trip and want to check out the dunes and stretch our legs. I can't find the info on the site (can someone point me to where it is?). Do we pay as we drive in? What forms of payment do they take? Thanks!

This would be a tough place to stop and do this. You have to have a daily or annual state park pass to park here and there's no place to pay for this at this park. You will have to drive to Warren Beach just down the way and pay there. I think it's around $9. You could just stay at Warren Dunes and stretch there. If you decide to drive back to Grand Mere keep in mind it's pretty hard hiking in the dunes. Really pretty once you get out of the wooded area, but you'll spend most of your hour break hiking. I'm pretty sure the parking fee could be paid with cash or credit.
Please help. Do you know of any vacation rentals on Grand Mere beach ? We are looking for a pet friendly cabin or small rental very close to Grand Mere Beach. John
