We went on 25 Feb and it cost 25 dollars each. Well worth the money and we saw several penguins (wrong time of year to see loads). There were some young children on our tour but it was tricky for them because there was quite a bit of standing still and being quiet involved - especially difficult when the kids were already tired. Bright lights or flashing lights on trainers also bother the penguins. Our guide, Stephen, was brilliant. We saw dolphins and seals at the start of the tour. It didn’t finish until gone 10pm (started at 8.30pm).
Q:
Can I take my dogs for a walk with me and partner around the island
A:
I'm afraid not - dogs and cats are prohibited - there are even spot fines for anyone who misses/ignores the signs. Walk out to the Bluff instead just along the coast a bit at Encounter Bay
