Yes, you can have a family picnic. Yes, you can bring a grill--the park also has some grills one can use. There are picnic tables. I have seen families bring tables and chairs and tents for little kids to sleep in. I do not know of any covered buildings in case of rain. The picnic area is on top of the hill, by the soccer fields and cricket pitch. There is a parking area there--one enters from Dufferin, near Coppa Foods, It fills up quickly on weekends. There are bathrooms.

The horse barns and arena are likely only open to members of the public who are either part of the handicapped community, instructors or maintenance staff.
