The Sanctuary closes at 5, I believe. I don't know the opening time, but it's most of the day. The last group they took around (our group) started around 4p.m. You have to buy tickets in the resort lobby, then the shuttle takes you the mile or two to the sanctuary. (Restrooms are available too, by the lobby.) If you're planning on being the last tour, you should probably buy tickets with a little time to spare, like by 3:30 or 3:45 in case you have other questions or some other unknown delay. Staff who sold our tickets spoke limited English, enough to sell the right tickets to us, ha! *The tour guide, however, spoke both English and Spanish very well, and alternated according to the needs of the group members.
