It was an okay zoo, but I was underwhelmed when comparing it to other zoos in big cities. Or even medium-sized towns. It was also a challenge to get to from where we were staying, so it seemed like… Full review by Asha9NB

Beaten down zoo in a rough part of town. This zoo was probably a better experience 100 years ago. Needs some benefactors with all of this money in Boston as public funding isn’t cutting it. Full review by DraperAussie

Awful parking, dirty bathrooms and way more people than animals.....don't recommend it. It just isn't worth the frustration of trying to get into this very congested area and the horrible parking unl… Full review by Mary P
Do you need to purchase regualar admission tickets to get into the zoo as well as the tickets for the lantern experience or do you just need the lantern tickets since the zoo is closed?

Just Lantern experience tickets, you can’t see any animals.
Hi - was wondering what time of day you went that the gorillas were so active? Was it the same with other animals?
A:
We always go around 10 and gorillas always on a move, at least some, other is having a breakfast. Later if we are there again they still playing and doing there things.
How long does it take, on average, to get through the zoo? I am trying to schedule a time slot.
A:
We were there about 2 1/2 hours but that was in February and some of the animals were not there at that time but there was still many, many animals to see
