Hi, can I have picnic anywhere at Cantigny Park or only at picnic area ?There is this one spot with tall trees behind visitor center that I absolutely love , lots of shade, perfect for families with small kids.

As far as I know you can't have a picnic anywhere in the garden areas. But there are picnic areas with large trees to your left when you enter the park and with picnic benches. There are plenty of places where children can run and play, climb throughout the park. I would double check with the guard at the entrance.
