Q: Is there a weight limit/minimum? A: Limits: Weight limits are set in place for the safety of the flyer and the instructor. The flight instructor’s main job is to keep everyone safe, which at times, could require spotting and catching. Depending on the location, weight limits will vary. Other factors may apply such as the size of the suits that are offered, and strength of the fans/wind. Minimums: Wind speeds are manually controlled by each facility. Therefore, there is not a weight minimum. Smaller flyers are not in danger of receiving too much wind for their body size.
