It’s a large area that’s certainly very beautiful- I would recommend taking the ‘virtual Expo tour’ easy to do online and decide what appeals to you. The large pavilions require for a bit of waiting time . On site, you can also hop onto one of the ‘ people movers ’ that is like an open shuttle that takes guests around, free of charge, and it lasts for around 30 minutes-that offers you a complete show around the Expo. I would absolutely recommend seeing the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia pavilions - they are breathtaking!

For the benefit of others who may be wondering the same thing, I will answer my own question (I just found out the answer). The short answer is no, they don't need to buy 2 new smartphones. All I had to do is buy the ticket for myself and them on the website as part of one single order. That order is associated with my email address. Then I download and install the expo app on my smartphone and I log in with the email address associated with my order and I can manage reservations for both me and them just from my smartphone. There is no need for me to buy them smartphones.
For those who have been to both the Shanghai World Expo and the Dubai World Expo, how would you compare and contrast the two. The Shanghai World Expo was unbelievably amazing. I am wondering if Dubai World Expo matches to that level.
