James P. Celebrezze Jr., MD, specializes in colon and rectal cancer surgery, diverticulitis, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. He also specializes in benign anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids, fistula, and fissures. Dr. Celebrezze is board-certified in general surgery, as well as in colon and rectal surgery. He received an undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University in Ohio. He then received a medical degree at Northeastern Ohio University, College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. Dr. Celebrezze completed a residency in general surgery at Akron City Hospital in Ohio, and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
