A good ski resort and the sled activity is fun. There are NO ski in and out places to stay here. You have to walk up a few sets of stairs at the bottom of the hill or walk quite a way at the top. The… Full review by Try2TravelSustainabl

Took a wrong turn off the highway and a long winding unmade road led to this out of season ski resort. Not much happening except people biking down the hills and then coming back up on cable cars. M… Full review by Foodange

Hi, does anyone know how to get to the summit chalet (to get to the sledding run) from Quebec City? I won't be hiring a car so need to use public transport. Thanks :)
A:
there is a train from Quebec City that runs to the base at le massif, and then the gondola runs to the summit from the station. Check train schedules as i am not sure that it runs often

We stayed at the nearby village of Baie-Saint-Paul, north of Le Massif de Charlevoix, at the Hotel Baie-Saint-Paul. It's rated a 3 star and we were pleasantly surprised. It was a last minute booking and they very graciously accepted us and our dog. The hotel is really a motel with lots of parking; clean, tidy rooms; a comfortable bar with a wood burning fireplace; and a restaurant with a good menu. We really enjoyed the fondue and it was the perfect meal to follow a day of skiing! The town of Baie-Saint-Paul is quite beautiful, with torch-lit lined streets on a winter's night, and several little restaurants and bars to choose from. During the day, you can check out the local artisans work at several boutiques lining the main shopping street of the village.
