We did not hike the trail, but we did enjoy the views and the stunning rock formations. Reading the historic markers educated us to the significance of this location. Full review by phat_dawg_21

If you are not a strong hiker but want to see some great views, can you go part way on the Cathedral Spires trail and still see? How long does it take to do the whole trail and return (figuring a moderate/slow pace)? Thanks :}

The trail starts out without a lot of elevation change. That takes you to the base of some of the spires. From there the trail makes a short but steeper climb and then flattens out again as you head around the back of the spires. If you are short on time or not a strong of a hiker the doing the first part is quick and easy. The whole trail took about two hours to hike taking our time.
