I've been coming to this park for years, and despite the odd amount of low reviews, it's amazing. They concentrate heavily on animal conservation, and it isn't a zoo. The animals are wild, so you nee… Full review by James H

Decided to write this review because the others just don’t do this place justice. I’d recommend spending 2-3 nights in one of the nearby accommodation to make the most of the park. Two main highligh… Full review by Matthew B
Hi, can you get to the park with a private car from Ho Chi Min airport? We might be a bit tight with time. Or do you still need to get a bike for the last few miles due to roadconditions?

Do you still need info? The quickest way to get to Cat Tien is really the sleeper bus, takes about 3hrs & quicker than cars as they hog the road. Book a night at Green Hope lodge with Luan & ask him to book you the gibbon trek for the morning (4.30am!) He will send a cab to meet the bus, & get you back on it the next day, honestly, there's nothing he won't sort out for you. Food & accommodation is excellent too, as is location
I am coming to Cat Tien on 22nd Jan 2019 & would like to know what excursions will be available

The best thing to do at Cat Tien is to take the Gibbon Tour (the early morning one). It is overly expensive but it is by far the highlight of the park if you want to see wildlife and supposedly the funds go back tot he park. You don't have to stay in the Park to do it (we stayed on the otherside of the river - you just have to pay a little more to catch the ferry over in the morning. It includes breakfast and there's quite a bit of time after you've done the tour and when you go on the bonus Gibbon Sanctuary trip so we walked back into the jungle and managed to spot some monkeys on our own. A bonus highlight. It is recommended to pre-book as there are only 4 spaces per day. We stayed a few days so booked when we arrived but I think you can book with the tourism office prior to arrival. Google Cat Tien Gibbon Trek. Treks are run by the local rangers.
