We visited these gardens with a tour guide and she gave us 2 hours and she let people wander off. Only 4 of us stayed with her. At the very entrance there is a little house of the past owners. And w… Full review by sheila270

No it is too far. About 30 minutes up a very steep windy road. Very cheap on the bus though but the timetable is a little Caribbean!! 1.20Euros each return CHEAP

We walked from the cruise terminal to the cable car office ------------ no taxi ------------it's a level walk, undemanding unless you have mobility problems -------------- & enjoyed the cable car ride; the gardens are adjacent to the place where the cable car disembarks. There's a cafe adjacent to both the gardens & the cable car. Hope this helps.
