Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. We do not breed, sell, or trade any of our animals. Our current residents include tigers, lions, leopards, pumas, servals, bobcats, foxes, and coatimundis. Check our website for the most accurate tour information; generally we are open every day in the afternoon for self-guided tours with admittance between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Admittance is not limited during the afternoons, and you can buy tickets online or pay when you arrive. We are also open on Friday and Saturday evenings only starting at 6:00 PM. Self-guided tours followed by the opportunity to watch us feed the big cats at 7:00 PM. Ticket sales end online when we open, but you can buy tickets at the door. During peak periods, we recommend buying tickets online in case we reach capacity.

What a great experience! Beautiful animals that are well cared for and loved. This organization rescues animals that might not survive otherwise. They are true heros! We will definitely go again next… Full review by Sarah J

I need lots of details from peoples visits. I’ve never been to something so specific for big cats. I almost went to the Myrtle beach safari but decided not to since the owner has had lots of strange things shined upon him too after tiger king came about. The MB is hands on and $2000 for upclose encounters. If anyone has to been to that...I don’t expect to jump on the back of a tiger LOL but I’m Looking for a place like this somewhere in the eastern seaboard that’s safe for a single woman to go to. My fiancé might go too.

Catty Shack is in Jacksonville, FL and a nonprofit organization that receives no funding. They are legit and above board. They do not breed or sell. They rescue big cats from unsafe conditions, zoos that have closed, etc. Subscribe to their FB page and watch them live twice a week when they live stream feeding the cats. Volunteers are stationed throughout the sanctuary to answer questions. We felt totally safe. It was an amazing experience.
