DURING SKI SEASON YOU NEED AWD/4WD TO DRIVE TO HOME Location, Location, Location!! Our Bavarian Chalet is located at the base of Lift 4 with its access to the new Kachina Peak Lift. The Bavarian Restaurant and Après Ski fun is right outside your door. In the summer the Williams Lake hiking trail, Wheeler Peak (highest peak in New Mexico), mountain bike trails, hiking trails, fly fishing, horseback riding, etc are also right outside your door. Once inside the Chalet you are greeted with the mountain chic interior design of Alexandra Champalimaud, 2012 inductee to the Interior Design Hall of Fame. Thanks to her efforts the Bavarian Chalets were recognized as a 2009 best of the year finalist by Interior Design Magazine. After a long day skiing/snowboard, hiking or other outdoor activity you enter a mudroom (ample ski/snowboard and gear storage), a warm open plan living, kitchen and dining area with ample space for your group, powder room and gas fireplace.
