Are a lot of the animals on display at the end of October? Should I even bother going if the temperature is in the mid 50s?
A:
I would recommend checking with zoo website to see which animals are out for public.

Is there a petting zoo and if so are llamas one of the animals that you can actually pet?

Yes, when I was there in May they did have a petting Zoo with Llamas.
