This grand city gate was built in 1732 and is well preserved. Note the intricate mosaic tilework. The marble columns are thought to have come from Volublis according to the guide.Full review by KatielouAustralia

The gate is under renovation, so I could rate zero. That's unfair. If you are visiting Meknes for the gate wait until the area renovations are complete. It's still a fascinating old city!Full review by G1407MMphilb
