A must-do experience if you are in the region. We arrived around 5.30pm, approximately 2 hours before sunset. There were quite a lot of people but the dunes are expansive so it is very easy to find… Full review by Christine P

Hi. I think it will be too late to go - if you get into the station at 5.30pm, by the time you have checked into your hotel and then got to the dune it will be getting on for 7pm. We spent 3 …

Hi. I think it will be too late to go - if you get into the station at 5.30pm, by the time you have checked into your hotel and then got to the dune it will be getting on for 7pm. We spent 3 hours there enjoying the views and dune. I'd suggest you get up the next day and head over before lunch. W

How long would it take ? That would depend on where you were cycling from I guess ! There is nothing much in the area other than campsites, forestry and the beach.
