Easy to get to from the metro. Did not go up. Queues were not massive for going up. Just took the free option of walking under and around. Good to get a sense of the vastness. Full review by ellieitalia

We didn’t feel like we missed anything— unless you just really want the info on the history of France, I don’t think you would learn that much at the site about the stone monument that you could get with a quick read before going to see it. Do go to the top. We are in our sixties and my DH carries a cane some they had no question when we asked for the elevator. None of the others with us looked particularly disabled— mostly older.
