A cutting edge art museum on the North Side of Pittsburgh. Located in a former mattress factory in the Mexican War Streets neighborhood on Pittsburgh's North Side, The Mattress Factory is a unique museum, with a permanent collection and new exhibits that are often site specific. Other pieces are just as engaging but able to be displayed in other settings. The Mattress Factory has a cafe in a charming courtyard, a wonderful gift shop and on occasion, offers performances.
