I don't know what happened or who wrote a bad review about Reel 'em Inn or Alaskan Fish On Charters but I have to say this. I took a chance with Gary and Darlene when I picked them out of a few other outfits I saw on the net. I AM SO GLAD I CHOSE THEM! Let's be real. You won't be staying in a place like the Waldorf but, it ain't the roach motel or the bed bug and breakfast! Gary is a bit rough around the edges but he warms up to you and does what's necessary to make sure you get your catch and enjoy yourself. Darlene is a beautiful person inside and out and goes the extra mile to accommodate. In short, they showed me and my family good ole 'southern hospitality'. Art at Reel'em Inn is a cool guy as well. He has good people working for him too! In my opinion and experience, if, for some reason or another there is a discrepancy of any kind, they will be more than willing to work things out with you. They don't try to take advantage of you or rip you off!! They go the extra mile to make sure their customers are cared for. In fact, my 3 brothers and I are going back again in 2018 and we haven't even CONSIDERED going with another outfit! Sure,we could spend a few dollars more, have fancier rooms, etc but we were there to FISH and just have fun! Mission accomplished! Gary, Darlene and Art, keep doing what you are doing! WE signed up for a week long trip next summer with Gary Kernan but I am a bit confused as to the halibut portion of our package, from what I am reading from the other people, sounds like we will be going to another city or location to halibut fish, can someone clarify?? KMA

You could very well go to another small port nearby to go Halibut Fishing. Not all charter captains fish for all species.
