As of October 1st, NONE of the buildings are open. Yet, you can still walk through the entire site, and get a good feeling of what life was like in 1860 Springfield. You can walk onto the grounds of the Lincoln house, but the Visitor's Center, and all of the buildings are closed. I'd still highly recommend visiting the site.
Q:
Are the grounds only open at Lincoln Home National Historic Site due to Covid 19?
A:
Tours of the home are not available due to Covid-19 restrictions, but you can walk around and see the outside. The Visitors Center at the site is closed as well.
Q:
Is it open on Sundays
A:
Sorry I’m not sure, but I would think so.

The tour of the home itself takes about 30 minutes - but you have to get a ticket at the visitor center and wait for your tour to start. There also are exhibits in the visitor center and in two more houses at the site, not to mention the two restored blocks in the neighborhood around the Lincoln house. Overall, we spent around 90 minutes or a little more here and we got here first thing in the morning so were at the front of the line to get tour tickets - suspect if you just drop in sometime during the day, you may end up waiting for quite a while for a tour.
Q:
Is there large R/V parking available here?
A:
No RV parking at the home, but the parking lot at the museum is only a block or two away and is large enough to accommodate an RV
