Great to visit. Beautiful waterfall around 15-20 minutes from Madikeri. The short descent using the stairs to the fall is surrounded by coffee plants and is a relaxing place. Full review by lakshayars

Can we play in water falls. Is there any restrictions?
A:
No. You can't enter the waterfalls. There is fencing as well as police personnel deployed at site. You can view and click photos from a distance ahead of fence or observatory.

For best waterflow you should visit there after mansoon but it is somewhat risky because roads are slippery

The climb up is quite steep for Senior Citizens. Also due to monsoons the concrete path can be a bit slippery. Walking shoes are recommended

Only if it rains very heavily, they may prevent entry for safety reasons. Otherwise it's open.
